Wingnut Hits Ron Reagan Jr. with "Shame" of Late Father

I wanted to point this out because Ron Reagan Jr. is one of ours: he's an atheist (which is why he says he could never run for high office) and there are times we need to stand by our own.

In this Hardball clip, Frank Gaffney, a right wing jackass, caps a heated argument about Afghanistan with a slap in the face to Reagan.



In case you couldn't hear it, Gaffney said, "Your father would be ashamed of you."Reagan responds, "You better watch your mouth about that, Frank...I'll see you later, Frank."

You have to have a pretty dark, crusty heart to speak that way to someone, particularly on national television. And it's all the more pathetic that it was just done to hurt Reagan personally. Another fine example of the conservative movement's principles in action.
